October 26th, 2009 Airports

Hi Everyone.

Considering some of you will be travelling to Mexico shortly, I thought it would be fitting to post a video about airports.  Since making the 10 day drive from Canada to Playa Del Carmen I have a new appreciation for airports!  How amazing is it that airports can get me wherever I’d like to go, usually in less than a day?!  Needless to say, I’m very thankful for airports, even though they sometimes have their share of minor “annoyances”.  Airports are the reason we’re all able to get away from snow and winter to come enjoy beautiful sunny Mexico!

Have a look:

Hope you enjoyed the video.

October 19th, 2009 Ana Y Jose - Julie & Shane

We captured the wedding of Julie & Shane this week at Ana y Jose Beach club just outside of Tulum this week. I have to say it was a very refreshing change from the resort weddings we’re used to. After the sun set we pretty much had the place to ourselves! The bridesmaids were in fine form and ruled the dance floor with the help of DJ Bob who has been at a few of our weddings now. The night was not complete until we caught a few wedding guests drop some of their clothes for a moon light swim…. sorry… no pictures to share with you. haha

Here are a few of our favorites from the night.  We hope you enjoy the images as much as we did capturing them!

October 2nd, 2009 Sights around our home

Before we became wedding photograhers we often overlooked the beauty of nature.  Even around our home we are able to find many beautify sights and creatures every day.  Here are a few of our favorites:

Iguana outside our balcony:

Butterflies in our stairwell:

And most beautiful of all, the brightest rainbow we’ve ever seen, right outside our window.
